About Me
I'm Kefei, a Digital Media student at the University of Bremen focused on interactive web, 3D, and XR experiences.
My work combines technical experimentation with visual storytelling across Unreal Engine, Blender, and front-end development.
Geh mit Hoelderlin: VR Poetry Experience
Developed an interactive VR poetry experience in Unreal Engine 5 for Meta Quest 3. The project translates selected lines by Friedrich Hoelderlin into a stylized forest landscape through spatial interaction, sound, and visual atmosphere.
Bella in Space
A third-semester Media Engineering team project developed in Unreal Engine 5. My contribution focused on parts of the C++ gameplay programming and the GUI Blueprint implementation.
Portfolio Website
Designed and developed this portfolio as a custom front-end project rather than a template-based site. It combines motion, layered visuals, and interactive effects to present my work in a way that reflects my interest in code, design, and digital atmosphere.
Wheeled Cactus: Modeling and 3D Game
A hybrid project spanning 3D modeling, animation, compositing, and game development. The wheeled cactus character was built in Blender, integrated into live-action footage, and later developed into a playable Unreal Engine prototype.
The Girl with the Pearl Earring
An early Blender study based on Vermeer's painting, created to practice blocking, proportion, and the translation of a two-dimensional reference into three-dimensional form.
Podcast: Lemon Season
Together with a friend, I produce "Lemon Season," a Chinese podcast where we talk openly and honestly about the challenges and joys of growing up. We share personal stories, give tips, and create a space for authentic conversations.
